KHÁNH HOÀ — The Folks’s Court docket of south-central Khánh Hoà Province on Wednesday sentenced seven former provincial officers to between 30 and 66 months in jail for violating land administration laws after a six-day trial.

Former chairman of the provincial Folks’s Committee Nguyễn Chiến Thắng bought the best punishment with a sentence of 5 years and 6 months in jail.
From 2012 to 2015, the defendants, who had been then leaders of the provincial Folks’s Committee and the departments, illegally handed over land, modified land use functions, and granted land use proper certificates in reference to the Cửu Lengthy Sơn Tự ecological and non secular tourism undertaking and the Vinh Trung villa undertaking within the province’s Nha Trang Metropolis, in line with the indictment issued by the provincial Folks’s Procuracy.
