State energy utility Vietnam Electrical energy (EVN) made a revenue of VND4.74 trillion ($207.6 million) from all actions in 2020.
However, its core enterprise of electrical energy manufacturing and buying and selling reported VND1.3 trillion in losses on account of worth discount and reductions. In 2020, EVN offered every kilowatt-hour for a median VND1,820.20, down 1.68 p.c from 2019.
Discount in gross sales worth, along with modifications in electrical energy load and consumption on account of Covid-19, and VND12.3-trillion invoice reductions for pandemic-hit prospects, are cited as causes for the loss.
The corporate reported greater than VND6 trillion in income from its monetary actions, capital transfers, and dividends earnings in 2020.
