Vietnam handed over two units of stays suspected to belong to American troopers who died within the Vietnam Battle to U.S. representatives on Thursday.
The Vietnamese Workplace for Looking for Lacking Individuals held a handover ceremony in Da Nang Metropolis attended by officers from the U.S. embassy and the U.S. workplace for looking for troopers lacking in motion in Hanoi, the Ministry of International Affairs stated in a press release.
The stays have been discovered following a joint search by the 2 sides over the past 5 months.
They have been examined by Vietnamese and American forensic specialists, who concluded they could belong to American troopers from the Vietnam Battle (1955 – 1975).
The stays might be despatched to Hawaii, the U.S., for additional examination.
