After receiving his medal, Jerry Bulzomi, 73, who served as a sergeant within the Military throughout a Vietnam tour when he was 18 years outdated, informed Newsday he remembered the tough climate circumstances he and fellow troopers endured throughout his time in Vietnam.
“We had been out within the area all day lengthy, in rice paddies, the water was as much as right here,” Bulzomi mentioned, motioning to his waist. “It was completely different from coming from town to going on the market.”
Bulzomi of Wading River had bitter reminiscences of when he returned from his tour throughout the warfare.
