A complete 7,500 Covid-19 check kits have been seized in Lang Son Province on Wednesday whereas being smuggled by means of the northern border.
At round 3:30 a.m., border guards found a bunch of individuals transporting items in Tan Thanh Commune, Van Lang District and requested them to cease for a verify.
However the group ran away into the evening, abandoning 15 containers. A pursuit resulted in Duong Thi Nhan, 36, being detained by authorities.
The 15 containers contained round 7,500 Covid-19 check kits, which price round VND300 million ($13,131) in complete.
Nhan mentioned she was delivering the containers to a person named Thi, whose handle she didn’t know, for VND300,000 per field.
An investigation is ongoing.
