U.S.-based United Parcel Service Inc and FedEx Corp, two of the world’s largest logistics firms, have mentioned they’re halting supply service to Russia and Ukraine.
In the meantime, German logistics firm Deutsche Submit DHL mentioned it had quickly suspended shipments to and from Ukraine and was avoiding Ukrainian airspace for its international operations.
Each inbound and outbound companies have been suspended to Ukraine, in addition to deliveries to locations in Russia, UPS and FedEx mentioned in on-line statements seen on Sunday.
Each Atlanta-based UPS and Memphis-headquartered FedEx had mentioned on Feb. 24 that they have been suspending companies to Ukraine.
It was unclear if each corporations proceed to make use of Russian airspace as a part of their normal operations. Neither responded instantly to requests for remark.
DHL’s assertion didn’t point out if its operations in Russia had been amended, and follow-up questions searching for clarification weren’t instantly answered.
